In the past, when high-speed juicers became popular, some people started to say that high-speed juicers destroyed the enzymes in the produce.  A fast-spinning bowl or blade can indeed destroy enzymes. But it is only a part of the facts. The truth is that any juicer can be used to preserve or destroy enzymes in fruits and vegetables. When using a slow juicer, if you want to keep the enzymes intact, you have to keep the pulp from touching anything metal or plastic during it is being prepared for consumption, or else you have lost most of your nutritional value from your juice.
